Alpine climbing Tennengebirge

The Tennengebirge is in no way inferior to the Hochkönig in Puncto route selection and rock quality. With the Werfener Hütte there is also a perfect base for climbers, with a magnificent view of the Salzachtal. Simplicity is very important here and running water is sought in vain….. the better the kitchen! Rarely do you find so many easy routes in a confined space, well secured, in the perfect lime!

Program – that’s what awaits you:

• Day 1: Meeting point in Werfen at the parking lot below the Gasthof Mahdegg. Joint ascent to the Werfener Hut (approx. 1.5 hours). Subsequent, joint training and preparations for the next days in the climbing garden near the hut.
• Day 2 and 3: Alpine climbing or climbing in multi-rope lengths in the walls around the Werfener Hütte. The routes are selected together on the basis of the conditions, the climbing level and the experience.

3 days guided tour by a state-certified mountain guide. We are happy to provide the necessary equipment, climbing harness, helmet and the necessary safety material free of charge.

Conditions:

• safe climbing in the difficulty level UIAA 4
• Experience in climbing multi-rope length routes
