The Pitztal is also the perfect place for this, freeriding in the local area, with a short ascent of the entire Mittagskogel with its countless lines. Directly behind the ski area the wide glacier areas around the Wildspitze. In short, equipped with freeride and ski touring equipment, the rearmost Pitztal offers everything our heart desires. 9 days training in perfect weather with perfect “guests”. The only drops of wistfulness were unfortunately the far too high temperatures, which in combination with a lot of wind made the snow quality unfortunately rather modest. Nevertheless, we were able to travel many lines and the general conditions on the glaciers were actually quite good in view of the past summer and the rather snowy winter. For the budding ski guides, the journey now goes to Silvretta, the examination course is the conclusion of the highest training in ski education. At this point I wish the participants all the best.
