Royal end of the summer season

What a summer! By this I do not mean the weather, of course, but quite simply the fact that despite the rather bad weather all our tours could actually take place as planned. It all started almost traditionally with the climbing courses of the school sports weeks in May and June, where thanks to the climbing hall Club Kitzsteinhorn one or the other wet day could be spent in the dry. However, we were also very much to be found in the climbing gardens near the valley in Weißbach as well as in the Gasteinertal, at this point a special thanks to Angerer Gerhard, who provides us with his leased climbing garden Klammstein again and again. Then we went seamlessly to the glacier in Kaprun to train the ski and snowboard instructors. Although the weather was modest, the snow conditions were better than in previous years. Thanks to our good cooperation with the Alpine School Markus Hirnböck, the classic high-speed time from July to September was not only a constant trace in the high mountains, but always very varied. From climbing, climbing, forest rope course and various guided tours everything was there and we never got bored. Trips abroad to Switzerland, Italy and France rounded off perfectly this summer. Many thanks to the numerous hut hosts for the good hospitality and honestly also the one or the other Bevorzugung.In of the coming week it is now called “Hawararoas”, too good German “men’s holiday”. The entire team of mountain guides Zell am See – Kaprun and a friend and colleague set off for a week of relaxing climbing among friends. From the holiday back, the coming winter season begins with the trainings for the Salzburg Professional Ski Instructors Association, for us a perfect complement to our activity, because the mountain guide season is slowly but surely coming to an end.
