Die Silvretta – Ski touring Paradise

Ever dreamt of a multi-day ski touring trip? Well, this is the “Cadillac” amongst those kinda trips. Cosy huts, great ski terrain, good food and lightweight backpacks … these are the ingredients for one of the best traverses in the alps.

Program – that’s what awaits you:

• Travel with us through the high alpine, big glaciers and exposed ridges are waiting for you.
• On day 1: We meet in Partenen, end of Montafon Valley to go up together to Berggasthof Bielerhöhe. Here we have a nice dinner and plan the days to come.
• Day 2: starts early and we climb Haagspitze, descent to Jamtalhütte. (1100m up, 1000 m down, 6 hrs.)
• Day 3: From Jamtalhütte we climb Hintere Jamspitze, Ochsenkopf and ski down to Wiesbadener Hütte (900 m up, 1000 m down, 6 hrs)
• Day 4: Wiesbadener Hütte – Piz Buin – Silvretta Pass – Silvretta Hütte (900 m up, 1000 m down, 6 hrs.)
• Day 5: Silvretta Hütte – Silvretta Horn – Rote Furka – Klostertal – Sattelkopf – Vermunt-stausee (1500 m up, 2100 m down, 8 hrs.)

5 full days of individual skitouring guiding by a certified IFMGA Mountain Guide and Level-4 Ski Instructor, Rental of harness and crampons, Rental of beacon/transceiver and probe, Amazing days out in the backcountry, booking of huts and taxis

Conditions:

• you have to be able to ski black groomer runs with confidence
• ski touring experience is necessary
• physical fitness to do 400 vertical meters per hour (ascent) necessary
• physical fitness to climb up to 5 hours per day and 1500 vertical meters necessary
• some rock climbing/scrambling experience necessary
• you have to be able to do switchbacks
• experience with crampons necessary
