With mountain worlds at the Kitzsteinhorn

With mountain worlds at the Kitzsteinhorn – in mid-November the phone rings and I am asked if I know “mountain worlds”? Anyway, I answered and had to admit that I am more of the mountain world series Schauer than the leaf of the glossy magazine. Whether we could imagine organizing the event “My first ski tour”?, was the next question. In demand, done, the mountain guides were quickly organized and the thoughts revolved around the perfect course of the 2 practice days. Our program should appeal especially to beginners and slightly advanced and the selected mountain guides made great efforts to the needs participants. Ski tours from “ground on” means equipment science, information on the procurement and interpretation of the LLB, preparation and execution of a tour day, standard measures in the ascent and downhill, track, walking and skiing technique in the terrain, comrade rescue, Snow cover surveys and much more, was arranged in small groups by our mountain guides. A packed, exciting program and the result were bright, enthusiastic participants and satisfied faces. At this point again a heartfelt thank you to the magazine Bergwelten, to the Kitzsteinhorn for the trust and the good cooperation as well as to all participants of the event “My first ski tour”.
